SFPR is pleased to welcome Pam Dochard to the team.

As many people in Scotland’s performing arts world will already know Pam is the media relations voice for Horsecross Arts, the creative organisation behind Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre.

One of her many recent successes was the PR campaign for Lost at Sea– a project in which SFPR also played a significant role.

This Perth Theatre and Morna Young production not only received a swathe of ★★★★ and ★★★★★ reviews but also won the CATS (Scottish Critics) awards for Best Director and Best Ensemble.

Fortunately for us Pam’s Horsecross Arts role is part-time, allowing her to work with SFPR during Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

She has an excellent track record of creating exciting and memorable photo and filming opportunities for theatre shows, classical concerts, children’s events and music festivals.

Pam has effective relationships with correspondents and critics in the arts press as well as the local and national media.

She managed the communication plan for the £16.6m restoration and redevelopment of Perth Theatre from curtain down to its triumphant return to the Scottish theatre stage.

In addition she has organised royal visits, brought Scotland’s top theatre awards to Perth Theatre, gained front page coverage for numerous shows in top publications and persuaded colleagues to dress up as Star Wars characters, panto cows, fairy godmothers and more, all in the name of great press coverage.

Pam also likes to dabble in social media and would love to do more than point and click with a camera.
